A wonderful start to the week with Monday and Tuesday providing perfect conditions and catches of 58 and 62 fish respectively. The windy weather returned with a vengeance on Wednesday and Thursday. Many thanks to Jim Lumsden, Ken Ward and Ken Glenton who managed to provide the R.A.F. Regiment with some freshly caught fish for a survival course in challenging conditions on the lower Lough.
The wind died down somewhat for the week-end. On Friday the week’s best performance was put in by Billy Emery and Chris Guthrie who brought 35 fish to their boat in a 4 hour session on dries.
The fishery is well stocked and producing good catches and another top up stock of excellent trout will be arriving from Northern Trout on Friday.
