The Loughs have both fished well this week with the best performance probably being that of Angus and David Slack of Prudhoe. Fishing the Little Lough they managed to return 1 blue and 20 rainbow trout, fishing from both boat and bank. Father and son team, Simon and Elliot Guthrie, fishing from a boat on the Great Lough returned 1 brown and 15 rainbow trout.
Lots of insect life on the water this week-end, including a hatch of Hawthorn Flies.
The weather has been all over the place with wind from every quarter, rain, wind and sun! Let’s hope for some settled weather in the near future.
