A good week at the fishery with only Friday totally blitzed by windy wet weather, even then Raymond Smee and Steven Sloane managed to return 5 fish to the relatively sheltered waters of the small Lough. Saturday treated us to the tail end of America’s hurricane but a creditable 12 fish were caught and returned by 8 anglers.
More friendly conditions on Sunday helped Darren Slaughter and P. Talbot return 15 rainbow trout each to the Great Lough and Eric Carmichael return 11 rainbow and 2 blue trout.
A great day was had on Monday when we hosted the Jack Charlton Disabled Fishing Club to a competition. Participants attended from all over the North-East and Cumbria, despite the forecast the weather was kind and all enjoyed the day.
